Login Help:
To access eCommunity, use your NID or Network ID. You will use this login and password every time you wish to change your student information or e-mail classmates.
Network ID:
The NID for students is composed of the first two letters of your first name and a six-digit number. If your first name has only one character, the character is duplicated to create the two letters for your NID. The six-digit number is randomly generated. For faculty, the NID is typically the first letter of first name and your last name up to 7 characters. To get your NID, use the NID/PID Lookup Page.
Format: ffnnnnnn
Example: Joe P. Student, his NID would be jo598372
Initial Password:
The initial password associated with your NID begins with a capital P and then the year, month and day of your birth.
Format: Pyymmdd
Example: Born 04-16-80, his initial password would be P800416
Once you enter eCommunity, you may change your password. Warning: Changing your password for eCommunity does NOT change the NID password for other systems such as e-mail and WebCT.
Forgot your password?
If you forgot your password, you may request that it be e-mailed to the address
listed in your eCommunity profile. Type your NID and your initial password (if you are a guest, leave this
blank) in the textboxes and click the submit button. Your password will be sent within a few minutes.
